Looking into The Word is just like looking into a mirror - a spiritual mirror that is. You were created in God's image according to Genesis 1. Our Spirit Soul (mind and emotions) and Body are all three a part of that image. All three parts are important to God and His Words are many about all three.
To understand and have the fullest, truest life philosophy, it takes an understanding of all that he said. In other words, you must look at His Word as a whole in order to see Him fully. If you fully know Him, you can't help but be fulfilled and recognized His intentions for your own complete image.
Here are a few key points to look for as you begin your walk through it.
1 God is perfect, flawless, Creator with no beginning and no end.
2 His will is only good. His intentions toward us are perfect, good and with an expected purpose.
3 Man's will is not only good. Man's intentions are not perfect, but flawed because we are not God, yet have the knowledge of Good and Evil.
4 Our intentions are not always perfect, good and with His purposes in mind. We aren't the Creator. Our will is exactly that - ours. Our will can align with His or stray. Therein lies our grief.
5 Through Jesus we have instantaneous, complete an irreversible restoration of Spirit. We can be rebirthed in Spirit and our Spirit made alive again. This choice is ours.
6 Through the assistance of His Word and Holy Spirit whom we can invite to live within us, we are challenged to daily renew our Soul and Body into the likeness of our Creator. This is a choice and a process. This is also something we have been given the power and privilege to accept. God's grace is enough to sustain us at every phase. Avoiding participation in this renewal process not only with holds the benefits of healing and wholeness, but it also leaves one vulnerable to the ingnorances that give way to deception and death. It also with holds the Glory of God from shining through you towards others who need to see God.
7 We have access to being remade into the image of God. We have been commanded to do so too!
